Kalesar National Park


The secure area of Kalesar National Park is situated in east of Haryana, India, which is 150 km from Chandigarh. It is a commonterminus for bird-watching. It is homespun to the red forestbirdiesamongst other birdies. It is a Salwoodland in ShivalikMounts, a titleset to the foot-hills of the Himalayas is extentthrough 11,000 acres (45 km2). The choicegoesequivalent with the Himalayan structure from Haridwar on the Ganges to the panels of the Beas, by a distance of 200 miles (320 km) and a normalthickness of 10 miles (16 km). The altitudediverges from 2000 to 3,500 ft (1,100 m). Geographicallytalking the Shivaliksfit to the tertiary bonds of the external Himalayas, and are mainly composed of littlestonework and firmpeaks; the hardened and elevateddebris of the excessivevariety in their hindmostthemiddledelldeceitful between the externalmounts and the Mussoorie.

This National Park is entitledlater the Kaleshar (shiva) temple situated in endangered area. The entireregion is filled with bio-diversity having thick Sal woodland, Khairwoodland and coverings of sward lands, which supports awonderfuldiversity of floras and faunasclasses.
The Kalesar Park was acknowledged as National Park onDecember, 8, 2003 with an area of 11570 acres. Next to the park is Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary and it was let know on 13th December 1996, with an area of 13209 acres.

 History
Kalesar is in localityof YamunaNagar which has variousdevout, holly and traditionallyvital places. Thus, itinvites a greattotal of visitors and travelersall over the year. It was originatedon first November, 1989 with an expanse of 1756 square kilometers, in which 655 rural communities, 10 municipalities, 2 tehsils and 4 sub-tehsils. Yamunanagar was previouslyidentified as 'Abdulahpur'. Before freedom, it was a trivialcommunity with inhabitantsfocusedround its Railhead. After separation of India, severalmigrants from Punjab in Pakistan selectedYamunanagar their freshhomegrown, and in the procedureadditionof theethos of the city. The region where plot was allotted to the migrantsfar aheadsettled into the model town region of Yamunanagar.There are manyancient places which are also recordedat this point.
Kalesar is an outstandingregion to stopover for bird lovers and those attracted in wildlife. It has a hundred year deep-rootedregaldak bungalow. Kalesar National Park of Haryana state was the greatest park of the country and to reinforcetouring, control stealing and for the improvedsupervision of the park; two elephants were being involved on investigationalbase.

Folklore has it that the Goddesspindiseemed in the basket of slitcarried by a nativemerchant. The temple constructed by Raja Deep Parkash of Sirmour in 1573. Nearby is anewlymade Shiva Temple.
Fossil Park Saketi (60km)
This was the place of the biggestremnantdiscover in the Siwalik Mounts. The park has a gallery and life-size replicas of the animals that formerlywandered these areas.
Best Time To Visit
The finest time to stopover the national park is in the middle of October to March.
Howeverweather is cold through those periods but one cangraspsights of uncommon animals and birdies like boars, sambhars, hares, Red Junglefowl, porcupine, monkeys, chitals etc. The woodlandscovervariousquantities of plants like Khair, Sal, Shisham, sain, jhingan and chhal etc.

National Highway NH73A passes by Kalesar. State highway linkingYamunanagar to Ponta Sahib runs over the Kalesar National Park. Kalesar is finelylinked by roads.

Things To Do In - National Park
KalesarMahadev Temple also identified as KalesarMahadev Math is an ancientshrine of Lord Shiva and DeviParvati. Sited in Kalesartownship of Yamuna nagarregion, it is also a rumination center on the panels of Divine Yamuna River.
Kalesar Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in just before the North of Shiwalikarea on the westerncross of the Yamuna River. It is very near to the National Park. The Sanctuary has a notabletenancy of about 161 classes of fowls that can be markedthrough the place.
The wildlife sanctuary has several water forms that are both ordinary and man-made which offermarshland for aquaticfowls. A little minor villageis also foundnear the south-western cross of the sanctuary.

Weather
Throughoutthe summers the hotness ranges from 20-40° C. it can get fairly hot and moist out there.
Rainy season here is pretty good given sufficientvolume of rain. It can be a relief from the warmth for the animals.
Inwintertime the heat ranges from 5-18° C. October to march is the greatest time to stopover the national park.
