History
On May 24, 1983 the
park was shaped beneath the 1972’s Wildlife Protection Act to defend sea life
like as the corals & nesting ocean turtles common in the region. It was
located beneath the defense of the Chief Wildlife Warden of sector the forest
of the Andaman and Nicobar Islets. The islets are unpopulated soil while,
according to census of 1981, there are around 3000 inhabitants residing in
eight neighboring villages.

Rail: No railway network is

By Road: The Mahatama Gandhi Marine National Park is located approximately twenty ninekms away from Port Blair city. It is also the capital of Andaman & Nicobar Isles.

Sea: As no railway network is

approximately 4 ship
cruises starting from Kolkata

Fees/Permits

bottles are not allowed in the park & one requires submitting cash for
every bottle taken inside. The safety deposit is hundred Rs. for up to three

Accommodation: The Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park consists of islets
