Bhowali is a very small town but still it is considered as the municipal board in the district Nainital that is part of a state in India known as Uttarakhand.This place is very near to Ghorakhal that is famous for its GoluDevta Temple and also a Sainik School.
In the year 1912 a T.B. sanatorium was built up in this area that made this area famous and this is also the place where Kamala Nehru has stayed. This area has now famous for its fruit market and serves its all neighboring areas.
With the enhancement of the area the newly added infrastructure to this is the Uttarakhand Judicial and Legal Academy or also called UJALA. Honorable Justice R.C. Lahotihas laid the grounds for this on December 19th in the year 2004.The other dignitaries present were the Honorable Shri N.N. Tiwari who was the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand during that time also was Honorable Justice Mr. V.S. Sirpurkar who was the Chief Justice of High Court of Uttarakhand and now he is the Judge of the Supreme Court on India.
